Basic program of Events
The concept for the junior exchange in 2008 is that the young chefs will run their own restaurant 2 Flirting with Nordic seafood” during Norway’s biggest food festival – Gladmat. The restaurant is open for general public, and they will pay for the services.

All Junior Chefs and Mentors arrive in Stavanger |

Tuesday July 22, 2008 |
0900, meeting point, reception at Radisson SAS Atlantic hotel. We drive to the school where we have our preparing kitchen (Hinna vgs). Starting preparing. 1200: lunch break 1700 - 1830: dinner break In the afternoon there is al long dinner break, if the weather is nice we are having picking at the beach. We use this day to be ready for the restaurant. |

Morning – 1.shift at the restaurant: Flirting with seafood 1200: first seating with 60 guest. You will serving them you three courses menu. 1500: Second lunch seating, 60 guest Evening - 2. shift at the restaurant: Flirting with seafood 1930: 60 dinner guest, serving your 5 courses menu. The students will be divided in two groups: lunch and evening shift |

Boat trip to Hjelmeland.0845, meeting point Reception Atlantic hotel. We will visit Marin Harvest in Hjemleland, producer of salmon and halibut. Evening – Fri evening. |

Saturday July 26, 2008 |
09:45: surprise for the student chef. Meeting point, Reception at Atlantic SAS. POESTI11:15, meeting in the Reception at Atalantic SAS hotel. We are driving to Sandnes, and are joining the activity POESTI: walking to Dalsnuten. In the links you will find pictures from tour.
